Like everyone says, "Where have the years gone?"!  After graduation I joined the US Army Reserve and served for 6 years as a medic. June 29, 1968 I married Marcia Kesselring of Parnell, Iowa and lived on her family farm until 1994 when we moved to my family farm.  We have farmed our entire married life.  We have 3 children: Mark, Michael, and Megan.  Mark and his wife live in Williamsburg and have 2 sons.  Michael and his wife live on the Steckly family farm and have 1 son.  Megan is not married yet and lives on the Kesselring family farm.  We built a house just west of the Steckly family farm and have lived there for the past 3 years.  We enjoyed camping when the children were growing up but as the kids got busy in activities we gave it up, and now are enjoying the grandchildren as they are starting to get into sports activities.  For our 35th Wedding Anniversary we took a 2 week land tour and cruise to Alaska, I would highly recommend going if you have the chance.
