ED and BOBBIE

Bobbie and I still live in Kalona right off of hole #3 on the Kalona Golf Course.  Golf is my passion so it is very handy.  We will celebrate our 30th anniversary in May and the family would like to go to Hawaii for a little getaway.  It is where we honeymooned.  I guess it would only be right to go back there to see how things have changed. We have 2 children, Beth 28 and Tyler 25.  We are very fortunate to have them living  close to us.  Tyler is a huge help around the house when Bobbie needs something done like vacuuming or yard work.

I started the business, Kalona Truck and Tractor, 24 years ago, and sold it 3 years ago to Kalona Tire.    I continue to work there on a part time basis and enjoy not having any of the bookwork or tax work to deal with.  Bobbie took early retirement from teaching 7 years ago due to her ongoing struggle with MS.  She runs the house and the checkbooks.  We love to vacation in Mexico, where we have a timeshare.  We also like taking in Las Vegas once a year where we enjoy shows, food, and the glitz.  It is hard to believe that our 40th class reunion is coming up so soon.  It doesn't seem possible to have been out of school that long.  I still remember so many little antics that I was a part of or my friends were, or both.  It will be great to see so many of my classmates.
