Where
have forty years gone? After high school I went to Business College in Iowa City
and then went to work for the University of Iowa. In 1970 I was an exchange trainee
with MCC in the Netherlands for a year. What a great experience that was to live
in another country and get to travel all over Europe. I came back to Iowa and
went to work at the University Hospital for a year. I then talked Nadine Nafziger
into moving to Phoenix with me and we both have been in Arizona since 1972. In
1980 I went to Hawaii and met my husband, George, who lived in Anchorage, Alaska. We
got married in November, 1980, and I moved from Arizona to Alaska!! We were married
eleven years when he was diagnosed with lung cancer and he passed away in 1991. We
were living back in Phoenix by then.
